Rain is a pain

Rain is a pain and it brings with it all the bad mood and gloominess that a lack of proper sunlight could bring. People are pale and sad everywhere I see. 3 of my friends have broken up in the last week, that’s saying something… And I am caught up playing moral support when I badly need one myself.

I never really believed that the weather could have an influence on our humours but now I see it clearly. Maybe I have a bad memory, but I don’t remember ever feeling so bad about the rain and I live in Curepipe.
Perhaps it is the loads of work and tests coming up or the general sadness prevailing. I think I need to cheer up a little and not let the rain get under my skin. Easier said than done… unfortunately.
